Puno je uradio za strip u Jugoslaviji . Strip Art mi je jedna od najdrazih edicija kao i Safirovi albumi . Pocivaj u miru .

Iskreno mi je žao.

Strip Art i ostala njegova izdanja su mi donijela mnogo radosti.

Činio je čuda u ex-Yu, pa i poslije.

Počivao u miru. Moram priznati da me ovo baš rastužilo.

Kao i svi klinci osamdesetih sam čitao Zagore i ostala Bonelli izdanja, nešto malo superherojštine u Eks alamanahu. Nisam imao pojma koliko je ustvari strip širok i bogat pojam.

Sjećam se dan danas osjećaja kao klinca kada sam prvi put pročitao broj Strip Arta s Hermannovim Tornjevima Boa Morije. Kao da me strijela pogodila. Iščitavao sam taj broj nebrojeno puta iz dana u dan. Taj strip a i ostali koji je Ervin objavljivao je oblikovalo moju doživotnu ovisnost o stripu.

Tako da hvala mu zauvijek...
